It's World Tuna Day and this is particularly relevant to Pacific nations because the Pacific Ocean is the biggest Tuna fishery in the World.

The fish is a crucial part of the economies of 22 Pacific Island nations and territories.

The Secretariat of the Pacific Community is helping Pacific nations managed their fisheries and says there have been some good results.

For more details, Caroline Tiriman spoke to the organisation's Director of Marine Resources, Mike Batty.
