Tuvalu climate activist in Sydney calls on big countries to pay attention to Pacific islands

Young climate advocates from Kiribati and Tuvalu are in Sydney calling on larger countries to pay more attention to the plight of small island nations.

The future leaders have spent two weeks speaking to MPs, school students and church leaders during their visit organised by the Pacific Calling Partnership

And Merineta Kinara from Tuvalu says their first-hand accounts of life in climate-vulnerable countries have struck a chord.
