UN told Australia is failing people with disabilities

For the first time, Australia's disability human rights record is being reviewed under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Today, women with disabilities and indigenous Australians with disabilities will tell a UN Committee in Geneva that Australia has a long way to go before it complies with its international obligations.
