Vaccine offers new hope for chicken farmers

An effective weapon has been developed to combat one of the world's most devastating poultry diseases.

Newcastle Disease can wipe out an entire flock overnight, and an outbreak in one PNG province last year prompted considerable alarm over its possible spread.

But now a new vaccine has been rolled out successfully in Africa.
