Volavola aiming to become the first Fijian Wallaby

One of the standout players in the 2012 Sydney Premiership, Southern Districts' rising star Ben Volavola has secured the last spot in the extended Playing Squad after impressing during a two-week trial with the New South Wales squad.

Former Junior Wallabies playmaker Volavola wants to be the first Fijian flyhalf to wear the green and gold Wallabies jumper.

The 21-year-old has signed a contract with Super Rugby franchise, the Waratahs, moving him closer to achieving his ultimate goal of playing for Australia.
