Work permits automatic with new Vanuatu passport sales in China

Vanuatu government is selling passports to wealthy Chinese nationals.

1400 Chinese have paid Vanuatu more than $3,000 each, a total of $4.3 million through the Permanent Residence Visa scheme, recently launched in Hong Kong.

While the Chinese are not expected to settle in Vanuatu each must register a company in Vanuatu earning more money for the government.
