Workers lose wages as waste leak closes tuna cannery

Production's set to resume at the American Samoan tuna cannery, StarKist Samoa, after it was shut down by order of the Environment Protection Authrity over waste escaping into Pago Pago harbour.

More than 2,000 people lost two days wages and that is expected to have a flow on effect to retail businesses.
