The late, great Afrobeat musician, Fela Kuti once said, "Music is the weapon".  And for our featured PacBreak artist this week - talented PNG percussionist, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Airileke Ingram - this is the gospel that guides his creativity.

Joining Namila Benson this week on Pacific Break will be Airileke, who talks about being a conscious musician - and explores how Western notions of labelling him as a 'world musician' is no longer the battle he once believed it to be.

We hear from Marshallese singer/songwriter, La Stevo, with a song he shared with Pacific Break via our Soundcloud account.

We’ve got some classic island-style roots reggae from artist, Buddy Buddy Scratch. And for our ”Klassic Kona” (where we play out vintage Pasifika tunes), we hear some ol’ skool hip hop from Zipso sung in fa’a Samoa. That’s this week’s bag of music goodness on Pacific Break.
