Tonga king visits China

King George Tupou V has left Tonga on his first official visit to China.
The palace office has confirmed that while in Beijing the king will have an audience with China's president, Hu Jintao.
He is also expected to visit some of the provinces.
The main purpose of the visit is to reaffirm and strengthen foreign relations between the Kingdom of Tonga and China.
