Fatal train crash in Malaysia
Updated
At least two people died when a train plunged down a ravine and into a fast-flowing river in Malaysia's east.
The train was travelling from the southern town of Tenom on the island of Borneo to the state capital Kota Kinabalu.
It was struck by a landslide near a bridge and ploughed into the Padas river.
Police say most of the 43 people on board were lucky to have scrambled to safety.
A search is on for other survivors.
