US officials mission to restart NKorea talks
Updated
A team of American officials has travelled to North Korea on a mission aimed at restarting the stalled nuclear disarmament process.
Pyongyang missed a deadline at the end of last year to produce a full list of all its nuclear activities, in return for economic aid and diplomatic recognition.
US President George Bush has denied reports that Washington is scaling back its demands.
Meanwhile, the US State Department says North Korea is expected to remain on the US state sponsors of terrorism list when the US releases its annual report on global terrorism next week.
The document, scheduled for release on April 30, describes countries' efforts to combat terrorism and lists the five Washington views as state sponsors of such violence: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.
