Quake in eastern Japan

A moderate 4.5 earthquake shook eastern Japan on Thursday, but there was no threat of a tsunami.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
The Meteorological Agency says the tremor occurred 7:30 am local time and jolted areas in Chiba prefecture, east of Tokyo.
