China Olympic ticketing system struggles

China's Olympic ticketing system hit difficulties as the final phase of sales for the Beijing Games got underway on Monday.
Long Internet delays and system crashes were reported as the almost 1.4 million tickets went on sale.
China's official Xinhua news agency says the online booking system seemed to hit a snag.
Some people said they could not buy tickets, either directly at Bank of China outlets or online.
Some buyers say the Internet system collapsed during the payment process, or messages pop up saying temporarily disabled when they try to purchase.
