PNG hospitals 'at breaking point'
Updated
Papua New Guinea hospitals have effectively gone broke, and are unable to provide basic services.
Even the country's largest hospital, Port Moresby General, has run out of food leaving sick children to go hungry.
PNG Correspondent Steve Marshall reports that at dinner time at Port Moresby General Hospital, there is no food to be found in the children's ward.
Staff have been forced to ration powdered milk and other vital supplies.
Health Minister Sasa Zibe says Port Moresby General can't cope.
The Minister has called for the health budget to be increased but for now our correspondent says Port Moresby General is relying on food donations from the public.
