An Indonesian man on death row for his role in the 2002 Bali bombings has remarried his ex-wife by proxy, after prison authorities refused to allow the wedding to take place in person.
Convicted attacker Amrozi, 46, was represented by his younger brother at a ceremony at his bride's house in East Java.
His lawyer, Fachmi Bachmid, says the marriage to Siti Rahma, whom Amrozi divorced some years ago, would be recognised under Islamic law.
Amrozi is in Nusakambangan prison off southern Java awaiting execution, along with two of his accomplices, over the Bali bombings in 2002 in which more than 200 people died.
