Taiwan to fund Solomons census

The Taiwanese government will fund a national population and housing census for Solomon Islands.
Taiwan's ambassador to Solomon Islands, George Chan, has announced details of the aid package.
The Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation reports Mr Chan saying the information collected will help the government in its creation of development programs and projects.
He says it will also help the Solomons in its creation of infrastructure, schools and health facilities.
