Twelve people killed in Afghan bomb blasts

Twelve people have been killed in two separate roadside bomb blasts in Afghanistan.
Officials say eight civilians died when their bus was hit in the western province of Farah.
Four policemen were killed and three others wounded in the second explosion which occurred in Logar province, south of the capital, Kabul.
The US military says it also killed several Taliban militants in an operation in the southern province of Helmand.
