Australian police 'losing publicity battle' over terrorism

Australia's Federal Police Commissioner Mick Keelty says his agency may be losing the publicity battle over counter-terrorism.
Speaking at a function in Brisbane, Commissioner Keelty said the AFP has considered creating a television program about the organisation to improve the community's view of its work.
But he says it is difficult because many AFP matters are classified or are before the courts.
"It's very hard to present what we really do. I admit that we may be losing the publicity war in some people's eyes," he said.
"But I think I go all around this country and I'm often stopped by people who compliment the AFP not only what they're doing in terrorism, but of course there's a lot of other things the AFP are doing."
