Indonesia names place for execution of Bali bombers
Updated
Indonesian legal authorities have named the place, but NOT the date for the execution of three men sentenced to death over the 2002 Bali bombings.
Senior prosecutor Abdul Hakim Ritonga says he's been told by the Justice Ministry that the men will face a firing squad in Central Java at a yet-to-be determined date.
The trio -- Amrozi, Imam Samudra and Ali Ghufron -- filed a third appeal with the Denpasar court in Bali this month.
All three men are being held in an island prison off the south coast of Java.
They were convicted in 2003 for the nightclub bombings that killed more than 200 people, mostly Australian and other foreign tourists.
