Fiji death threat investigation almost complete
Updated
Fijian police say they've almost completed their investigation into recent death threats made against Australia's High Commissioner, James Batley.
Last month, James Batley received two death threats.
They were contained in letters, which arrived at his office at the Australian High Commission in Suva.
Fiji Police Spokeswoman Ema Mua says the investigation has been "very positive", and it's almost over.
She wouldn't comment on the likelihood of an arrest, but says police have two possible suspects.
A spokesman for the Australian High Commission says he's confident police are doing all they can to investigate the crime.
