Chinese arrest 16 over alleged Tibet bomb attacks

Chinese authorities have arrested 16 people for allegedly carrying out bomb attacks in Tibet.
Most are said to be Tibetan Buddhist monks.
The official Xinhua news agency says the three attacks were carried out in Changdu district of Tibet in the first half of April.
It is not clear if there were any casualties.
Tibet's government-in-exile says more than 200 people died in anti-government protests and riots in Tibet and neighbouring provinces in March and early April.
The Chinese government says about 20 people were killed.
