Fifteen local officials in China's southwest province of Sichuan have reportedly been sacked for malpractice in earthquake relief efforts.
Another 13 officials have reportedly been punished for wrongdoing in connection with quake relief.
Last month, authorities issued a statute providing for the punishment of anyone who engages in malpractice and fraud tied to quake aid.
The quake that struck Sichuan killed more than 69,000 people.
There are still more than 17,000 people still missing.
