A woman accused of driving a 13-year-old girl to suicide in the United States by creating a fake persona on the social networking site My Space has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy charges.
Prosecutors say that Lori Drew contacted the girl, pretending to be a 16-year-old boy, before rejecting her and telling her the world would be better off without her.
The girl hanged herself in her bedroom hours after receiving the last message.
Mrs Drew could face 20 years in prison if convicted.
