Sri Lanka military attacks rebel bunkers

The Sri Lankan military says it has killed at least 11 Tamil Tiger rebels in the north of the country.
Two government troops are said to have died in the clash.
The defence ministry in Colombo says the fighting occurred when government forces attacked three rebel bunkers in Mannar district.
The ministry says the clash came shortly after a Tiger suicide bomber hit a police complex in neighbouring Vavuniya district, killing 12 police.
