Indonesia's Adam Air misses another deadline
Updated
Indonesian airline Adam Air is a step closer to shutting down after authorities stripped the grounded carrier of a key certification.
An Indonesian transport ministry spokesman says the company failed to meet a three-month deadline to improve safety standards - for example, pilot and cabin crew training.
Adam Air has had a string of serious safety incidents since its launch in 2003, including a plane that went missing off Sulawesi killing all 102 people on-board on New Year's Day in 2007.
