Australia provides more China earthquake aid
Updated
The Australian Government is providing another $US710,000 in aid for earthquake victims in the Chinese province of Sichuan.
Two thirds of the money is being provided to the World Bank's Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery.
The other third dollars will fund training for mental health workers to help with the psychological distress caused by April's earthquake.
The money is on top of almost $2 million Australia has already provided in aid to the Red Cross and the Chinese government.
