Samoan villages to get funded sports programs

Samoa is the latest Pacific island country to get Australian assistance to fund village-based sports programs.
Similar programs, initiated by the Australian Sports Commission and AUSAid, are already up and running in Vanuatu, Kiribati and Nauru.
The sports ministry in Samoa signed up last week, agreeing to take the program to 30 villages.
