Pakistani Taliban leader to halt peace talks

A top Pakistani Taliban leader has announced he is suspending peace talks with the government.

Baitullah Mehsud says he's taken the decision because of the security forces' continued use of force against tribesmen.

Security forces mounted a crackdown on militants in the Khyber tribal region near the main northwestern city of Peshawar on Saturday.
