Minister says police maybe involved in Mongolia protest shootings

Mongolia's justice minister says police may have been involved in the fatal shootings of people in protests that erupted in the capital over alleged election rigging.
Munkh-Orgil says the government plans to conduct a major investigation into the operational and tactical activities of the police force once the state of emergency is lifted.
A four day state-of-emergency was called in the wake of the violence that was sparked by claims of vote rigging in Sunday's polls.
Meanwhile President Nambariin Enkhbayar is meeting with the leaders of all political parties to work out a joint declaration calling upon the people to refrain from using violence in any way, shape or form.
