The Rugby World Cup 2011 pool draw will be held inside Tourism New Zealand's giant rugby ball venue in London on December 1.

Rugby New Zealand 2011 chief executive Martin Snedden says the draw will see 20 teams divided into four pools of five teams.

The International Rugby Board world rankings, as they stand at December 1, 2008, will be used to band the 12 teams automatically qualified for the draw, with the remaining eight positions determined through continental qualifiers.
