Earthquake-affected panda gives birth to twins
Updated
A giant panda relocated as a result of China's deadly May earthquake has given birth to twin cubs.
Guo Guo is reportedly the first panda to give birth since the 7.9 magnitude quake in Sichuan province.
Nearly 70,000 people were killed and five million left homeless.
The Xinhua newsagency reports one cub weighed 170 grams.
It says Guo Guo was cuddling the other cub and staffers at the Bifengxia Giant Panda Base were not able to weigh it.
Twelve-year-old Guo Guo was moved to the panda breeding centre after the quake caused heavy damage to her Wolong Nature Reserve home.
