Pakistan's port city hit by low intensity bombs
Updated
Police in Pakistan's port city of Karachi say one person was killed and 30 others injured in five low intensity bomb blasts.
The incidents happened in the Pushtun dominated areas in Karachi.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blasts.
Police believe the bombs were planted to create panic in the city.
Karachi has seen a number of deadly attacks blamed on various Islamic militant and political groups since Pakistan joined the US-led "war on terror" in 2001.
