Israel condemns Iran missile tests
Updated
Israel has condemned Iran's test of nine medium and long-range missiles, one of which had the range to reach the Jewish state.
Middle East correspondent Matt Brown reports that it's been just one day since Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, dismissed concern about a possible Israeli or American attack on his nation's nuclear facilities.
Israel is acutely aware that if the Shihab three missile has the range Iran claims, it could reach Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
It maintains diplomacy is still the best way to rein in Iran's nuclear programme.
However, following the test launch, right-wing Israeli politicians have renewed calls to prepare for a unilateral attack.
Israel conducted war games earlier this year, reportedly simulating an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
