Anti-smoking groups disappointed with Qantas
Updated
Anti-smoking lobby groups say they are extremely disappointed Australia's national airline Qantas has reintroduced selling cigarettes on international flights.
The airline says it is offering them in its inflight duty-free store because of increased demand.
But Fiona Sharkie, from the anti-smoking lobby, Quit, says Qantas must reconsider its decision.
"This is clearly a grab for cash at the expense their patron's health," she said.
"It's really a backwards step as we see it, when we consider Qantas is Australia's own international carrier and Australia has been really leading in the tobacco control movement."
