Japan offers RAMSI role

Japan has offered to be part of the Australian-led region assistance mission to Solomon Islands, RAMSI.
However Solomons' Prime Minister Dr Derek Sikua has called for caution and says he's seeking clarification on the offer.
He's described Japan as an important bilateral and development partner.
Forum ministers from RAMSI countries are currently meeting in Honiara.
