Vietnam plans upgrade to China transport links

Vietnam plans to boost transport and trade links with China by upgrading a major northern highway and sea port.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has signed a $US1.4 billion proposal for a six-lane expressway from Hanoi to the border town of Lang Son.
The planned road will then connect with a road in China's Guangxi province.
It's scheduled to be finished in 2020.
