Cambodian residents evacuate disputed border area
Updated
Cambodian residents have begun evacuating an area at the centre of a border dispute involving Thailand.
The area surrounding the Preah Vihear temple turned into a flashpoint on Tuesday when three Thai nationals entered the temple compound to protest against UNESCO's listing of the 11th century Hindu pagoda as a World Heritage Site.
The Temple is surrounded by 4.6 kilometres of land which both sides claim as their own.
Troops from Cambodia and Thailand have been amassing on the border for the past three days.
Cambodia is to hold talks with Thailand over the issue on Monday.
