Australia announces Olympics team

The Australian team to compete at the Beijing Olympic Games has been announced.

It's Australia's second biggest away team, after Athens.

Australia has qualified in 26 of the 28 sports.

It's aiming to stay in the top five of the overall medal tally.

266 athletes are making their Olympic debut.

Rower James Tonkins is off to his sixth games.

Equestrian Lauren Lever is the oldest member of the team at 61 and 16 year old backstroker Emily Seebohm is the youngest.
