Taiwanese medical team in the Solomons

A 12-member Taiwan medical team is visiting Solomon Islands to provide free medical treatment to villagers.

The Taiwanese Embassy in Honiara says the team of seven doctors will provide a range of medical services during their visit.

They will travel to hospitals in Honiara, Gizo, Noro and Munda, and will also visit health centres in Western Province next week.
