US tourist stung by stingray in Australia

A tourist has been airlifted to hospital after stepping on a stingray in Australia's northern state of Queensland.

The 47-year-old man from the United States had been walking along the beach at Hayman Island when he was stung on the foot.

He was airlifted to the Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
