Australian Olympic Commitee pushes sports funding

The Australian Olympic Committee and Paralympic Committee have joined forces to lobby the federal government for a complete overhaul of sports funding.

They've commissioned a detailed study into the financial needs of sport at all levels which they expect will be finished later this year.

A-O-C President John Coates warns if funding isn't increased Australia will slip down the rankings of world sport.
