England names Pietersen new cricket captain

England has named Kevin Pietersen as the new captain of both its test and one-day cricket teams.
He takes over the captaincy from Michael Vaughan who stepped down from the role yesterday.
All-rounder Paul Collingwood also resigned yesterday as one-day captain.
Pietersen will lead England for the first time in the fourth test against South Africa starting at the Oval on Thursday.
