Australia plays down Beijing pollution

The Australian Olympic Committee is playing down the air pollution in Beijing.
After a few days of clear skies, the city has been shrouded in thick white haze.
Organising authorities say they are confident of good air quality for the games.
The AOC president, John Coates, says the conditions, while not ideal, are not obstructive.
"I don't know whether it's just overcast, what the particular content is, I don't know," he said.
"But as we've been saying, I would have preferred it was yesterday but we get on with business."
