Indonesia's central bank raises interest rate

Indonesia's central bank has raised its key interest rate.

It's the fourth rise in as many months.

Bank Indonesia lifted the benchmark rate by 25 basis points to 9.0 per cent.

It's hoped the move will dampen inflation, after a 30 per cent hike in the price of subsidised fuel.
