Solomons PM says he can survive no-confidence motion

Solomon Islands Prime Minister Derek Sikua says he has the numbers to defeat Friday's no-confidence motion.
Opposition leader Manasseh Sogavare says Dr Sikua's government has not performed since taking over last December.
But Dr Sikua says his government has re-established security and normalised strained relations with its neighbours.
He told Radio Australia's Pacific Beat program, much has achieved a lot in a short time.
"(For example,) giving a sense of direction and a sense of relief for a lot of people in the private sector who can now see that we have been able to put back some certainty in our relations with RAMSI," he said.
"So there is a sense of security, a sense of direction, something that wasn't there in the two years prior to our ascension to power."
