Afghanistan cracks down on child sex abuse

Afghanistan's interior ministry says police have begun a crackdown on child sex abuse in the north of the country after the arrest of a number of offenders in recent weeks.
Afghanistan's Human Rights Organisation says it's receiving disturbing reports of child sex abuse in northern Afghanistan, including the rape of girls as young as three.
The interior ministry says sex assaults on children have increased, and says it's arresting a growing number of suspects.
