Nepalese prisoners overpower jailers

Police in southern Nepal say more than 50 prisoners, affiliated with various political and criminal armed outfits, have overpowered 15 guards and escaped during a roll call on Wednesday.
One prisoner was shot dead and a police officer was hurt in the scuffle that ensued.
Five prisoners have been caught and the rest are still at large.
