Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has been discharged from a Mumbai hospital, four days after he was admitted with "abdominal discomfort."
An AFP photographer says the 73-year-old Nobel laureate smiled and waved as he emerged from the hospital.
The Tibetan leader's spokesman says the Dalai Lama has cancelled all engagements for several weeks and will shift to a Mumbai hotel for several more days of rest.
