Suspected American missiles fired in Pakistan
Updated
A suspected unmanned American plane has fired missiles at a house in Pakistan's tribal region, a day after a US military commando raid in the same area.
The Pakistani government has summoned the U-S ambassador to express its anger about the attacks.
The Pakistani government described the cross-border raid by commandos as shameful and unjustified.
Officials say up to 20 people, including women and children, were killed.
Today's missile strike from an unmanned drone struck a house in the tribal areas believed to harbour Islamic militants and Taliban fighters.
A number of people were killed.
The attacks appear to be part of more aggressive tactics by US and international forces to disrupt militant strongholds in Pakistan.
