Updated
Sacked workers in India have beaten to death the boss of the Italian company that laid them off.
The killing has been described by the country's government as a "warning for management."
The AFP news agency reports dozens of former employees at car parts maker Graziano Transmissioni have attacked chief executive Lalit Kishore Chaudhary, 47 in a meeting, which turned violent.
The meeting was to discuss a long-running labour dispute.
